The sound is still muffled after a run

Run it once more. A second pass often finishes the job, especially if the water sat in the grille for a while. If two or three runs of Deep Water Eject change nothing, the water is probably not the problem — have the speaker looked at.

The volume did not go up

Automatic volume can be turned off in Settings. Some phones also block volume changes while a Do Not Disturb profile or a volume limiter is active — raise the media volume by hand in that case.

One speaker sounds quieter than the other

Use the speaker test to confirm which side it is: play left, then right, then both. A crackling or quiet side usually means water or dust is still there. Note that most phones have one loudspeaker at the bottom and use the earpiece as the second channel, so the two sides are not identical even on a healthy phone.

I paid but the routines are still locked

Make sure you are signed in with the same store account you bought with, then reopen the app — the purchase is restored automatically at startup. A purchase made on Android does not transfer to iOS or the other way round.

Is this safe for my phone?

The routines stay inside the range a phone speaker is built to handle, and the Gentle intensity level lowers it further. Sound is loud, though — keep the phone away from your ears while it runs.
